According to the City of Malibu, more than 150 showed up to its earthquake preparedness workshop in late June. Public Safety Manager Susan Dueñas spoke to residents about earthquake threats facing Malibu and how to prepare.
Free emergency kits were given out to to local residents ages 55 and up.
