Overnight closures are taking place on the Ventura (101) Freeway as Caltrans crews repair the roadway, which was damaged during the Woolsey Fire in early November.

The freeway closures, which began on Monday, include the following areas:

• The two rightmost lanes and the shoulder heading northbound, from Parkway Calabasas Road to Liberty Canyon Road

• Northbound Las Virgenes Road—both on- and off-ramps

They are scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

According to Caltrans, the repairs include a K-rail installation, replacing damaged guardrail, clearing drainage lines, removing debris, replacing damaged fencing and applying erosion control in certain areas.

Motorists can expect delays due to the repair work, which is subject to change based on weather and other factors.
