Letter to the Editor

In response to “Blood on Our Hands” published on Aug. 9.

I just read Mr. Michael’s Beeghley’s letter to the paper, and I definitely agree with everything he wrote—why don’t we have more police on our roads? I see people making u-turns in front of me all the time, and the people who walk across the highway like they are taking a walk. We have to stop all the accidents we are having. By the way, as long as I am on the subject of safety, the fact that beer and wine are being served starting at four o’clock at the Chili Cook-Off is terrible; in fact, at any time, this is terrible. We have to serve liquor so more people can have accidents. Shame on us.
