The following incidents were reported between 10/13 and 10/26:

10/13

Trunk theft

A laptop, camera, golf clubs and other items worth about $5,500 were stolen from the trunk of an unlocked vehicle parked outside a home on PCH. 

10/16

Retail robbery

The front window glass was shattered at two Civic Center stores, though businesses did not report how much, if any, merchandise was taken in the break-ins.

Champagne crook

A suspect slipped a bottle of champagne valued at over $70 into a handbag and left a PCH grocery store without paying.

Nicked at knife-point

U.S. currency worth $180 was stolen by a knife-wielding thief from the cash register of a gas station on PCH.

10/26

Taxes taken

A backpack containing an iPad, first aid supplies and tax documents was stolen from a vehicle parked at PCH and Latigo Shore Drive.
