A gas leak at a construction site at the 24900 block of Pacific Coast Highway closed the highway in both directions today from approximately 12:35 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. A Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station spokesperson said the preliminary report is that a construction crew hit an unmapped gas line, causing the leak.
