City of Malibu to host student art show, competition

The City of Malibu will host the Malibu Student Art Show next month at Bluffs Park. The art show and competition will take place Feb. 2–3, with the deadline for submissions on Monday, Jan. 28.

The show is open to all K-12 students who reside or attend school in Malibu. All submissions may be dropped off at the Michael Landon Center at Malibu Bluffs Park or at Malibu City Hall.

All artists will be recognized for their work and are welcomed to attend the artists’ reception to be held on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 1-2 p.m.

Admission to the show is free and the art gallery is open to the public Saturday, Feb. 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
