Ryan Sarmiento, 14, won four straight junior golf tournaments last month. Competing in the 14- and 15-year-old division, he came in first place in the Camarillo Junior Golf tournament on July 19, the Thousand Oaks Junior on July 10, the Los Posas Junior on July 23 and the Ventura Junior on July 26. In the Ventura tournament, Samiento came back from three strokes down on the second day, shooting a 2-under par 70 at Olivas Golf Links for the win.
Samiento will be a sophomore at Malibu High School in September.
