Malibu Navy League President John Payne and member Ron Merriman awarded certificates for outstanding service to several members of the United States Navy Sea Cadet Corps at a ceremonial presentation event.
Malibu Navy League is affiliated with the Langley Division of the Sea Cadet Corps. The group is made up of 22 members led by Lieutenant Commander Pamela Silver. It meets at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s station. The Sea Cadet Corps was established in 1958 to provide leadership opportunities and training for youth ages 11 to 17.
