Thank you, Malibu Times, for an article that showcases one of the most excellent environmental nonprofits that operates in Malibu (or anywhere else). [Response to online story “Local actress helps launch fire-prevention texting service”] Tree People is awesome, but way too many Malibuites do not appreciate the work that they do.
Over many decades, Tree People has significantly enhanced many of our native ecosystems throughout Southern California. Tree People has also improved Los Angles residents’ quality of life by hugely enhancing the Los Angeles urban forest, one of the largest urban forests on earth.
Tree People offers a myriad of volunteer opportunities for anyone that wants to get involved in a wide variety of projects that utilize any and all skills a volunteer has to offer. Every volunteer event with Tree People is a wonderful experience for all that attend.
