Nancy and Ronald Reagan are now both gone.
They came from humble beginnings to face criticism and opposition from many sides throughout their lives. However, the vast majority of Americans admired and even liked the Reagans — even those who disagreed with their philosophy. Their admirers outnumbered their detractors by far. They almost never answered attacks and just went forward doing their best.
Both of the Reagans made everyone who met them feel special, worthy and important in this life. Their example of service and selfless love for this country will stand as a great example of the best of America.
