The hurry-up plans to double the size of Point Dume’s Elementary School have won approval form the Malibu Planning Commission.

But the city attached a few conditions aimed at reducing possible traffic jams at the Point Dume campus.

Plans to install a natural gas electric generating station just up the coast for Malibu we’re fought bit early by residents of Oxnard.

Now they are celebrating the fact that Southern California Edison is going to install a giant combination of batteries and solar generating panels up the coast to the local area.

And this raises the question .. why is solar power and batteries being used in Oxnard but not in Malibu … where power transmission lines keep causing fires???
