Southern California Edison told the state Public Utilities Commission on Thursday an outage of its equipment before the Woolsey Fire may have been caused by a guy wire and a jumper making contact.
The official cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Caltrans officials say they hope to find some sort of solution soon for dozens of residents were still trapped outside of their houses … because of fire repair work in the Decker Canyon area. Details: http://www.radiomalibu.net/road-closure-woes/

Encinal Canyon Road – Malibu city limits to Lechusa.
Decker Canyon Road – PCH to Lechusa except one section at Decker School
Foose Road – off Decker Canyon Rd.
Mulholland Highway frpm PCH to south of Sycamore Canyon Road.
Mulholland Highway from Westlake Blvd to the Encinal Canyon split.
School will be back in session at Malibu High School tomorrow.
Tests came back in last night … for PCBs.
All levels were non-detect.
