The Chabad of Malibu celebrated the Chanukah season with an afternoon event at the Malibu Lumberyard on Monday, Dec. 26 that included live ice menorah sculpting and fun for visitors of any age.
Children enjoyed arts and crafts and face painting, along with traditional dreidels. There were latkes and donuts along with music and dancing.
The event was one of three sponsored by the Chabad, which also hosted a Chanukah event on Saturday, Dec. 24 (Chinese food and latkes) and one on Wednesday, Dec. 28 with a grand menorah lighting.
