The Malibu High School (MHS) Theatre Department will present its fall musical, “33 Variations,” on Nov.19-22 at the MHS Theatre.
The musical simultaneously examines Beethoven’s creative process and musicologist Katherine Brandt’s quest to explore Beethoven’s complexity during her struggle with ALS.
MHS students Nancy Walecki and Gabe Deibel star in the play with the roles of Brandt and Beethoven. Isobel Anthony will be featured on the piano.
