Measure S creates a golden opportunity for Malibu to remove large parcels of land in the Civic Center area from commercial development and will provide educational and recreational opportunities that the city could not otherwise afford. Once this land is sold, these benefits are lost.
If S passes, we will be eligible for $15 million of state grant money for a Civic Center clean water system.
