As of May 1, the City of Malibu will be accepting applications for its Summer 2015 Student Intern Program.
According to an announcement from the City, “The City of Malibu Student Intern Program exposes high school and college graduate and undergraduate students to public service and promotes a career interest in local government. At the same time, the City benefits from the skills and fresh perspective a student intern can bring.”
Selected students will have an opportunity to work in various City departments, including Administrative Services, City Clerk’s Office, Environmental Sustainability, Parks and Recreation, Planning, and Public Works. They will work on administrative tasks as well as special projects. There will be interviews the week of June 1 and selected interns will begin on June 8.
Applications will be accepted through Friday, May 29 at 4 p.m. and can be found here. Students must be enrolled in high school, undergraduate or graduate programs.Â
