In response to “So long” published on Feb. 7
The definition of bigotry is “intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself.” Max Rubio’s Feb. 10 diatribe against Steve Jones’ “Make America Great Again” letter, wherein Mr. Rubio referred to Mr. Jones as a “tool” and admonished The Times that, “I have chosen to click on ‘report spam and unsubscribe’ to any further emails from this publication. Why would you print that fool’s B.S.?” falls squarely within the definition of bigotry.
I hope that The Times is undeterred by losing the readership of bigots such as Mr. Rubio, and continues publishing perspectives from all sides.
