Malibu resident Blue Benadum placed second out of nearly 5,000 runners in the second annual Pasadena Marathon last month.
Benadum, who is currently sponsored by Nike, also placed second place in the same race last year. He is president of Forever Runners, a running team and club that teamed up with the city last year to hold the first annual Malibu Marathon.
The club is now actively searching for sponsors for the second Malibu Marathon, slated to take place later this year.
