Pepperdine University Art Students guided Malibu High Life Skills/Special Needs class in a seven-week program, “Color in Action An Excellent Adventure,” with the leadership of Malibu High’s special education advisor, Lisa Szilagyi, and Pepperdine professor Gretchen Batchelle. Students, teachers, family and friends came together to celebrate the exhibit’s opening reception at Pepperdine last Friday night.

Pepperdine art students Priscila Burke, Becky Ingle and Kelsey Patrick spent seven weeks with Malibu High’s Life Skills/Special Needs class. “It was really meaningful to work with them and see their uninhibited art,” Burke said.
