A costar recently revealed British action star and Malibu resident Jason Statham survived a near-death experience on the site of his new movie, “The Expendables 3.”
Statham was filming on location in Bulgaria when the truck he was driving rolled into the Black Sea. According to his co-star Terry Crews, who related the incident to Jay Leno on “The Tonight Show,” Statham kept his cool and casually got out of the truck and swam to the top of the water as the vehicle began to sink behind him.
Statham suffered no injuries from the incident and was able to reshoot the scene on the same day.Â
