Rosemary Tissot died Aug. 17 at the age of 89.

Tissot was born June 3, 1923 in Switzerland. She met her husband of 50 years, Pierre L. Tissot, in Los Angeles. The young Swiss couple discovered they both had a common love of snow skiing and skied Mount Baldy on their first date. The pair raised three daughters in Pacific Palisades.

Tissot owned and operated Tissot’s TV in Pacific Palisades for 40 years and was also a longtime supporter of Malibu Urgent Care. Her family describes her as “a devoted, warm hearted mother.”

Tissot is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rosemarie and Dr. David Frankle, Melanie and Dennis Gunn, and Janet and Joel Parks; her grandchildren, Sean Frankle, Jason Frankle, Michelle Gunn and Brandon Parks; and her sister, Irma Grob.
