Local Carson Caccamise competed in the 2011 Teen World Golf Championship in Pinehurst, N.C. July 28 to 30.
Caccamise, 16, was one of only six golfers from California to be chosen to compete in the 15 to 18-year-old division. He finished in the top 15 among the 16-year-old golfers in the tournament.
The championship chose 105 of the best teen golfers in the world to compete in the event.
