On Sunday, Nov. 8, Malibu High School (MHS) Zanmi Club student members, along with MHS teacher Jennifer Gonzalez, hosted “A Day for Haiti,” a fundraising event to raise money for Haiti. Festivities for the day included Haitian refreshments, music, and authentic Haitian folk art dolls and baskets that were for sale.
Sunday’s event raised more than $1,500 to support Haiti.
