On Thursday, April 14, the Emily Shane Foundation hosted Wings Over Malibu — a fundraising event benefitting the foundation and the foundation’s Successful Education Achievement (SEA) Program — at Casa Escobar Malibu.
Festivities for the evening included drinks, food, music, dancing and entertainment.
The Emily Shane Foundation was founded by Emily’s parents, Ellen and Michel, in memory of Emily, who died six years ago at the age of 13. The SEA Program helps mentor middle school students who are struggling/failing in traditional classroom settings.
