The Annenberg Foundation awarded The People Concern with a grant in early April for its contributions in aiding people experiencing homelessness.

The funds will go toward running the Annenberg Access Center, which the grantee uses at one of its locations to aid the homeless population.

The foundation has awarded numerous grants to nonprofit organizations, primarily located in Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, in the past.

In a shared statement, The People Concern Executive Director John Maceri said, “The Annenberg Access Center is often the first glimpse of hope for individuals experiencing homelessness … Their generosity ensures that we are able to continue opening our doors to provide that hope for hundreds of individuals each day.”

The grantee has a full-time outreach team here in Malibu and is a partner of the Malibu Task Force on Homelessness.
