The Pacific Ocean Park redevelopment in 1963 would have seen a massive glass building rising out of Santa Monica Bay, connected to the shore by a narrow glass causeway. The plans were drawn by Carlos Diniz for Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall, Architects.
