I know Anne Hoffman well. We have been friends for many years. Let me add, friends who don’t always agree. However, to know Anne is to admire her for her thorough research into any topic about which she writes or speaks. Because of that, when I read her letter of two weeks ago, I believed it.
Last week’s papers brought forth a barrage of, all over the map, defensive attacks against Anne and the letter she wrote. I carefully reread those letters. They made for exciting journalism, not fact. Our community is lucky to have Anne Hoffman who is not afraid to research, write and speak the truth.
