The Malibu Rotary Club was awarded the Golden Spatula Award for Best Food at the 2011 Rotary District Convention in Indian Wells May 13. The club, which hasn’t had a booth at the event in 25 years, won the award with the help of Kevin Boling’s pulled pork sliders and special barbecue sauce. Representatives from more than 45 clubs attended this year’s convention.
