Starting the new year with a bang
Malibu AYSO girls under 12 (GU12) division soccer took first place in the Simi Valley New Year’s Tournament on Sunday. The team’s final game against Chatsworth was won 1-0. The Malibu girls U14 division placed third in the tournament. Representing the U12 championship team are: Caysie Beetley, Jasmine Callahan, Brittany Cowart, Dakota Gross, Brianne Horner, Kerri Madden, Anais Masiello, Katie McShane, Rebecca Ottusch, Christina Post, Lucy Schneider, and Samantha Stiegler. The team is coached by John Johnstone and Joseph Masiello.
