What’s that cracking, ripping, shattering gruesome sound? It’s the official demise of the Malibu Country Mart. Indian Joan’s will be gone by the end of this month and a $300-a-pair jean store will take its place. Barney’s will be moving into the Room at the Beach site. Take heart, Mr. Van Dyke, it may not be possible to buy a screwdriver here anymore ,but you certainly will be able to get monetarily screwed.
