Update: 6:50 p.m.: All lanes of Malibu Canyon Road reopened following a collision Monday evening.
Malibu Canyon Road was closed about one mile north of the tunnel in both directions at 5:34 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, due to a head on collision.
One injured party was set to be transported by air from Pepperdine’s lawn to a nearby hospital, Lt. Rotella with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station described. Rotella could not provide an estimate for when lanes would reopen, stating they were still closed at 5:45 p.m.
