Malibu’s Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) helped brighten up the Christmas season for the families of several veterans during the holiday season.
Malibu DAR came together to fund Christmas gift purchases for three veterans’ families and four female veterans who needed a helping hand during the holidays.
Devon, Dorian and Taylor Bomer were among three children who had their wish lists answered. Their father was a security forces journeyman in the military and received accolades such as an air force training ribbon, outstanding unit award and an air force longevity service award.
“All of these gifts were just a very small ‘thank you’ for [the veterans’] service,” Malibu DAR said.
