Last week Wednesday, Amy Stark’s second graders and Stacy Harris’ third graders from Webster Elementary School delivered more than 450 new books they had collected over the school year to double the collection in the children’s section of Borchard Community Library in Santa Paula. “This was such a marvelous gift to our library,” children’s librarian Ilene Gavenman wrote in an e-mail. “We were so thrilled that the teachers, parents and children put forth so much effort to help our community.”
