At last weekend’s Gamecock Grand Slam at Wheeler Beach, S.C., Pepperdine beach volleyball scored a win against No. 7 Louisiana State University and No. 11 Georgia State University. The matches ended, 3-2, 4-1, respectively.
Waves’ pair Corinne Quiggle and Deahna Kraft are on a winning streak, with 13 wins. Skylar Caputo and Alexis Filippone share a similar streak, with an undefeated, 17-0, win-loss record this season; the two are among the nation’s top volleyball pairs.
Pepperdine is currently ranked at No. 1 among teams. The Waves competed against CSUN and Loyola Marymount on Wednesday, March 21.
