Weather by the beach is expected to be perfect this weekend in Malibu, with a high of 73 degrees on Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Patchy fog in the evening will set the low between 63-65 degrees for the weekend with light, southwest winds ranging from 5-10 mph. Gusts could reach up to 15 mph on Sunday afternoon.
Events around Malibu include a garden workshop at the multipurpose room in Malibu City Hall on Saturday, July 19 at 9:30 a.m. and Kay Rae Chomic reading “A Tight Grip: A Novel about Golf, Love Affairs, and Women of a Certain age,” at Bank of Books on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Scott Wells Memorial Foundation will host “Malibu Rocks,” a musical celebration to benefit the foundation at The Malibu Jewish Center & Synogogue at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night.
