The Santa Monica Mountains Natural History Association (SMMNHA) and the California State Parks will be hosting a “60th Birthday Bash for Leo Carrillo State Park” this Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Leo Carrillo State Park.
Activities at the event will include a surf invitational, woodie and classic car show, and a vintage camper show. There will also be hula hoop and bubble blowing contests along with food trucks, merchandise and educational vendors.
Come dressed in ’50s attire and enjoy the sounds of classic ’50s music from “BANNED from the BEACH” and “Zamour” during the event.Â
