Photographer Chris Tosdevin of Topanga Canyon caught these two unusual photos of birds at an Audubon Society walk at the Malibu Lagoon on Oct. 12. The bottom photo shows two juvenile Greater White-fronted Geese, which have only been sighted twice there in the last 31 years, according to Audubon records—once in 1988 and in again from 1999 to 2000. The first photo shows another infrequently seen bird at the lagoon—the Peregrine Falcon, feasting on his kill.
