A fire broke out late Wednesday night at Pierce Brosnan’s home in Malibu, leaving an estimated $1 million in damage.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 9:48 p.m., according to Inspector Rick Flores of the L.A. County Fire Department. Brosnan’s home is located on the 31000 block of Broad Beach Road. Brosnan and his family were home at the time of the fire, Flores said, and evacuated the house quickly upon hearing fire alarms go off.

The fire originated in the laundry room of the actor’s garage, Flores said, and spread upward to a room above the garage. No one was injured.

“The cause is undetermined and deemed to be accidental,” Flores said.

The blaze was knocked down by 10:30 p.m. Four fire engines and 18 firefighters were at the scene, along with a truck and a paramedics squad.Â
