Community members visited Webster Elementary School last week to teach students a variety of skills and share their knowledge.
Susan Price, a local dental hygienist, gave a presentation to the school’s kindergarten students about proper dental hygiene using puppets, a giant toothbrush and other props. Additionally, local artist and parent Brad Howe presented assemblies during which he explained the relationships between art, mathematics, physics and creativity. He also showed how he creates mobiles and hosted a workshop to show how children could create mobiles of their own.
