Karen Bystedt’s “Lost Warhols” were on display during an open house to raise funds for Angels Nest in Malibu. Angels Nest is a charity that helps former foster and homeless youth. Bystedt, a contemporary mixed media artist, photographed Andy Warhol for a book of male models 28 years ago. The artist found the negatives for the photos in 2011; she remixed the images to include other artists such as Gregory Siff, Bradley Theodore and Peter Tunney. One of the pieces is currently on sale for $500,000 on eBay.
