In response to “Malibu: Sanctuary City?” published in the Jan. 5 issue.
Reading your article in the recent edition of The Malibu Times, I was left wondering whether perhaps Malibu was alone in the Westside cities moving toward sanctuary city status. If so, one might theorize that Malibu’s declaring itself the West Side’s lone sanctuary city could conceivably, in the eyes of some, contribute to a further rise in antisocial behavior already witnessed amongst its burgeoning homeless population.
