Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore and the National Park Service are hosting an art exhibit, titled “A Day of Nature and Art,” on Sunday at the Santa Monica Mountains Visitor Center at King Gillette Ranch. The exhibit will feature the work of more than 20 artists who paint landscapes of the local mountains and beaches.
“It’s wonderful to be inspired by the spectacular beauty of the Santa Monica Mountains, to share it with others who also appreciate it and then help preserve it,” said Allied Artists member Donna Goldstein.
The exhibit will be on display from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. The visitor center is located at 26876 Mulholland Hwy. For more information, call 805.370.2301.
