In honor of Earth Day, the Cornucopia Malibu Farmers Market hosted a special visit from electric carmakers Fiat and Tesla. Those who attended last Sunday’s market were able to test-drive the cars, as well as learn about the benefits of switching to electric vehicles.
Market cofounder Debra Bianco said that having the cars at the market was a big draw and they plan on doing this again next Earth Day, if not sooner.
The Cornucopia Malibu Farmers Market takes place every Sunday throughout the year from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Malibu Library Parking Lot, located at 23555 Civic Center Way.
