Traffic is clear along Malibu Canyon Road after a car accident blocked traffic for about an hour and a half Thursday morning.
Sgt. Derek Alfred from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriffs Station said the accident occurred when one car drifting into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on collision. One of the vehicles rolled over, trapping the driver inside. Firefighters were able to remove the driver, who was airlifted to a hospital to receive medical attention.
