Malibu resident Margo Neal was recently selected as one of the UCLA Graduate School of Nursing’s 60 outstanding graduates. The school chose individuals “who have made significant contributions to clinical practice, science, education, and health policy.” Neal was the first independent provider of continuing education for nurses in the U.S. and developed a new genre of clinical books. She established an education and publishing company, which she subsequently sold to Williams & Wilkins of Baltimore.
