Local Businesses Gather at Facebook Seminar

The Malibu Chamber of Commerce and Facebook hosted a free “Boost Your Business” seminar on Monday, Oct. 30, at 1:30 p.m. The seminar, held at Duke’s restaurant, started with remarks from Congressman Ted Lieu. A Facebook small business expert then presented on the best practices and strategies for businesses. A Q&A followed the talk, with a panel of local businesses, including Prevelo Bikes, Search Dog Foundation and Youngblood Cosmetics.

“Boost Your Business” aimed to educate locals on optimizing their online presence and engaging consumers on Facebook.
