Malibu musicians and music lovers alike are preparing for the four-day Malibu Guitar Festival, which will take place at venues and restaurants from May 14 to 17.
The festival kicks off with an opening night fundraiser, benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu, Little Kids Rock, and the Malibu Special Education Foundation. The weekend will continue with two days and nights of performances in local restaurants, bars, and outdoor areas. The last day of the fest will feature an all-day outdoor concert at Malibu Village. Described as a community-minded event, directors of the festival hope that the music will inspire young people while supporting local charities.
Participating artists include The White Buffalo, Orianthi, Dale Watson, Kevin Costner & Modern West and more. The Green Truck, Cousins Maine Lobster and India Jones Chow Truck will be on location, providing fare throughout the festival.
