Thursday evening the Malibu High School Choral and Instrumental Departments present Masterworks 2012, featuring Chorale, Chamber Singers and Orchestra members performing Poulenc’s Gloria with Soprano soloist Tanner Porter and other performances. Saturday morning Pepperdine University’s MBA Challenge for Charity Chapter hosts its annual Run the Waves 5K, to raise funds for the Special Olympics, the Children’s Lifesaving Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica.
