Public Hearing for SMC Malibu Campus Scheduled

A proposed site plan shows that the future Santa Monica College (SMC) Malibu campus will include 187 parking spaces for SMC use, 10 parking spaces for Sheriff’s and over 30,000 sq. ft. of landscaping, including a garden roof.

The Planning Commission will hold a special public hearing to discuss the Santa Monica College (SMC) Malibu Campus on Monday, Feb. 29 at 6:30 p.m. 

The commission will consider the project’s coastal development permit and associated entitlements and discuss a final environmental impact report, which was certified by the SMC Board of Trustees on Jan. 13.
