It occurred to me the other day that what Malibu has is a lot of wind. Remember last Wednesday. It felt like about 40 miles per hour. I’m sure others have thought of this, but wouldn’t it be a natural conclusion to have windmills here? Last Wednesday felt like it could have powered the whole town for a week. We want to go green, so it seems to me this is a simple solution. This is a wind corridor. We could probably get a grant from the federal government as well. Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come. It has worked for the Dutch; it can work here.
